Peanut needs a new loving home

This is Peanut, his human mom (Pam) died two weeks ago and I (Chris, Pam's son) am desperate to find a new loving home for this wonderful guy as I cannot care for him and will be leaving the area soon. Peanut is around 14 years old and is diabetic so he needs insulin shots (VERY east to administer) twice a day. He is neutered and healthy besides the shots. He is a very loving and happy and low key cat. He is a cuddler and loves to get lots of pets (petting). Please, I am totally desperate and am looking for an angel here to rehome him and would love anyone reaching out to me with any help or leads on a new home. I have called all the local area shelters and none are accepting cats at this moment so this process has not been easy for anyone, human or cat.
