Rural Solar Restoration is a full-service solar repair and restoration company founded on a fundamental principle that careful planning and highly skilled professionals can quickly and efficiently overcome any issue that may exist on commercial, industrial, and utility scale solar installations. To further our mission, we are excited to add a QA/QC & Commissioning Lead to our team of motivated and experienced solar professionals. All candidates for this role must have previous experience running solar installation crews on pitched roof, flat roof, and ground mounted solar installations in all weather environments. QA/QC and Commissioning Lead applicants must possess a thorough understanding of solar racking, module, and inverter installation and have the ability to train and manage a team of entry level technicians through complex solar projects. Our Crew Leads Are Expected To: • Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service at all times • Clearly communicate with customers and team members • Possess emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills needed to effectively collaborate on a team • Regularly utilize computer software to troubleshoot monitoring issues, send emails, read construction drawings Job Tasks: • Identify system performance and quality deficiencies, and provide corrective action • Assist with development of solutions, equipment selection, and product procurement • Perform complex and sometimes repetitive testing and measurement tasks • junction boxes and all associated wiring per manufacturers specifications and local codes • Collaborate with Operations, and installation team to deliver high quality projects • Complete required paperwork for system performance verification, warranty claims, and closeout packages • Effectively communicate technical and quality issues in an effective and professional manner Minimum Qualifications: • 5 years of solar industry experience • A thorough understanding of electrical installation best practices • Must possess valid driver's license, clean driving record, and have reliable transportation • Ability to lift 75lbs, work at heights, climb ladders, work in hot and cold environments • OSHA 10 certification (OSHA 30 preferred)
