NW Employment Solutions is seeking a full-time SWING SHIFT MANUFACTURING LEAD immediately for an international manufacturing warehouse in CANBY, OR. This is a Direct Hire OR temp-to-hire position. This company manufactures plastic components that will be used in cement and the early stages of construction. Position: Manufacturing Shift Lead Location: Canby, OR Days: Monday – Friday, Plus OT as needed Shifts: 3pm - 11:30pm - SWING SHIFT (schedule flexibility a must) Rate of Pay: $19--$23 per hour, depending on experience Duration: Temp-To-Hire or Direct Hire. Company offers health benefits, PTO, and a raise upon hire. The MANUFACTURING LEAD is responsible for a crew of 8-10 employees, doing light reporting in various Microsoft programs, and making decisions based on work load and workers available for production. The Manufacturing Lead should be a strong leader ready to jump in and aid employees when extra hands are needed on the floor. The ideal Manufacturing Lead candidate is outgoing and has strong people skills. Duties: · Providing strong leadership to the crew and aiding with any tasks that need additional support. · Generating reports in excel based on productivity, workload volume, and drafting shipping labels. · Aiding in the manufacturing of plastic components, packaging, and staging product for shipment. · Training new team members and monitoring breaks, lunches, and ensuring the safety of the workforce. · Any other duties required Requirements: · Must be able to frequently walk, stand, bend, lift, and reach to perform necessary job functions. Must also be able to lift up to 50lbs occasionally. · Must be comfortable with fast paced work and leading a team · Spanish bilingual a plus! · Must have a strong work history. Good attendance is essential for this role. · Previous Manufacturing, Warehouse, OR Distribution experience necessary. · Multi-tasking and handling multiple tasks at once · Comfortable on computers, Excel, and able to handle some very basic data entry · This role mostly operates indoors. Must be able to tolerate the smell of plastic.
