We are looking for a vocalist that will be our front person, male or female. You must have experience. This is a new band made up of seasoned musicians who have played in many area bands. The band consists of drums, bass and guitar. Presently, we all sing. However, we have found that a front person is necessary to cover different types of music and much better for the audience. In today's world, it is all about entertaining. Can you entertain and connect with your audience? We can "cover" most any song. We put our spin on it and update it so it fits in the setting where we are playing. We play anything from 60s to present day. The set list will consist of whatever the singer brings to the table. The songs must be danceable or they will not be used. What do you have to offer? Are you interested so far? We rehearse once every two weeks. Rehearsal time is not time to learn music; it is the time we take to go over material that should be learned ahead of time on your on time. Tablet use is okay for a couple of rehearsals when a new song is being rehearsed. After that, you should know the lyrics. We do not want a singer that is glued to a music stand or tablet! We try to make this easy for everyone in the band. We only try to attempt 2 to 3 songs every two weeks, maybe less if necessary. Rehearsal time is Friday evening or Saturday late afternoon to the early evening. This is done to not interfere with weekly work schedules. Rehearsal time is on the days when we would normally play, if you can't make rehearsal then you can't play. We are looking for a vocalist with no drama, no drug use or alcohol use.
