Groundskeeper/ Execution Position for Event Center in Fishers Full time employee with varying hours who is a self-starter who enjoys working outside and creating beautiful green spaces and executing exceptional events. Responsible for the care and maintenance of all of the green spaces, trees, scrubs, landscaping beds, hard scapes and all water features to maintain property as an elegant and unique venue. Works with the Operations Manager to help set up and tear down for events. Be part of the team to provide a quality customer experience. Duties include: • Care and maintenance of the all green spaces, trees and scrubs, landscaping beds, sanded areas, walkways, and hardscape structures and water features on the property. • Maintaining and Installing landscaping plantings • Care, general maintenance of all utility vehicles, water cart and three different golf cart/passenger carts. • Care and maintenance of the maintenance facility/ shop and other equipment facilities on property. • Facilities with outside vendors • Maintenance/handyman in the facilities • Event Execution responsibilities Requirements/Must be able to: • Operate equipment such as mowers, tractors, twin-axle vehicles, chain-saws, electric clippers, sod cutters, pruning saws and wood chippers. • Mow and edge lawns, using power mowers and edges. Care for established lawns by mulching, aerating, weeding, grubbing and removing thatch, and trimming and edging around flower beds, walks, and walls. • Use hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruning saws, saws, hedge and brush trimmers, and axes. • Prune and trim trees, shrubs, and hedges, using shears, pruners, or chain saws. Cut down dead trees. • Maintain and repair tools, equipment, including hand and power tools. • Maintain and repairs hard scapes and structures on property including maintenance building/Shop, fences, benches, power wash deck, patio, driveways, parking lots. • Mix and spray or spread fertilizers, herbicides, or insecticides • Provide proper upkeep of sidewalks, driveways, parking lots, fountains, planters, and other grounds features. • Must be able to climb ladders • Must be able to lift 50 pounds Qualifications: • Prior experience in landscaping industry • Reliable transportation • Valid driver’s license • Self-starter • Work as a team member • Demonstrates Professional Communication skills • Demonstrates organize and planning skills • Works well with people • Follow up on work/Accountability for work
