This event is the orientation and gear fitting for Lansing Roller Derby's 2022 Basic Skills Roller Derby Boot Camp. Orientation for interested adults will take place in-person at the Court One Training Center starting at 7:30pm. For individuals who will need to borrow loaner gear, we have an extended window from 4:00- 9:00pm where people can stop by at any time to get fitted and pick out the equipment they will use. No prior experience is necessary in order to participate! Our boot camp is built on a foundation focused on developing skaters to their full potential, regardless of prior skill, experience and ability. Basic Skills Boot Camp is run twice a week, for 8 consecutive weeks. Loaner gear is available to borrow at NO COST to you.
