Seeking a highly talented and motivated individual to join our team as a project manager. Project managers are normally responsible for of administering the project from beginning to end including pre-construction (budget, schedule, zoning, entitlements and feasibility review), procurement of subcontractors and materials, and all construction as well as the financial, administrative and safety aspects on a project. Projects are located in the Berks County area Experience/Qualifications Building and maintaining solid relationships with subcontractors and vendors to lead projects from pre-construction through completion. Ability to read drawings/blue prints. Coordinating and communicating project needs with staff in client buildings to help maintain an efficient job flow. Developing and executing schedules with the build and design team members to ensure timely completion of projects. Overseeing the submittal and approval process to ensure procurement is consistent with the project schedule. Overseeing labor management and timing to keep general conditions costs in-line with contract. Manage progress review meetings with design team. Collaborate with colleagues to troubleshoot daily problems typical of any construction project. Review field conditions with subcontractors, architects and engineers at walk throughs. Create punch lists, take offs, and manage inventory. Managing requisitions for projects as well as evaluating and validating design changes that lead to change order costs. Present value-engineering options to clients and design team when applicable. Communicating with Owner by providing schedule look ahead and identifying issues that may affect project procurement or scheduling. Review field reports from engineers and where applicable, execute their plans after client approval. Maintain project data, including contract documents, permits, special inspections, and generate action items for team members in-line with project schedule. Budgeting, accounting, and other basic administrative tasks.
