First Court is looking for 25 enthusiastic, talkative, opinionated but fair-minded people from Denver County in Colorado, for a Private Jury Trial taking place online via Zoom. This trial will be held on Friday, Jan. 7th from 7:30M - 1:00PM Mountain. We are paying $125 for participation in the trail plus $25 for attending the training session the day before the trial. Participants MUST have a computer / laptop with a webcam and high speed internet. Sorry, but Smartphones and IPads do NOT WORK FOR THIS PROJECT. Candidates who are fairly tech savvy are preferred. We need people who can listen to lawyers' arguments and witnesses and then tell us what they think. The objective of the project is to get honest feedback on the facts of a real lawsuit case by individuals in the area where the case originated. PLEASE NOTE: We can only select individuals who live in Denver County, Colorado. Any candidates who are interested should contact Lisa.
