Equipment Rental Company looking to hire a full-time position as a Small Engine Technician. Primarily responsibilities: -Performing general/preventive maintenance on all equipment. (Generators, pressure washer, air compressors lawn equipment, weed eaters. -Detect and note any conditions that would affect the safe operation or equipment and bring them to the attention of the shop or store manager. -Test and inspect engines for malfunctioning parts. -Repair or replace worn defective, or broken parts. -Reassemble and reinstall components and engines following repairs. -Communicate effectively with internal and external customers and service providers to expedite warranty repair work -Perform minor welding and/or electrical work on equipment Requirements: -Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with high safety standards and attention to detail -Extensive knowledge of 2/4 stroke engines -Must have 2+ years of equipment mechanic experience -Must have a Valid Texas Drivers License -Must have High School Diploma / GED -Able to lift/move 50-100lbs -Ability to receive instruction and to follow rules and procedures Apply in person at 1300 W.
