Figured I'd try this one last time before I leave Chicago to another music city. Moreover, I have over a decade of musical experience and in that time I have written songs for local bands as well as played in bands too. I have pro gear for guitar but I would be just as open to playing bass guitar. I can sing and play lead lines if need be but I wouldn't consider myself a singer per se, just someone who sings out of necessity, really. Backing vocals if needed, I can also provide. My songs have had all sorts of comparisons but the overall vibe sounds a bit like The Smashing Pumpkins, The Strokes, Oasis, and 1970s guitar riffage. I listen to everything but for a project that is coming up I would like to have tunnel vision to hone in on a sound. Moreover, the lead lines I write come naturally to me but I can play most things with proper practice. I would prefer to join a band or DIY start up with the understanding of wanting to create a full-time thing. I appreciate your time and effort would enjoy trading music and demos with individuals who want to play music for a living or established garage bands who are looking to solidify their lineup.
