David Monn, LLC Warehouse Manager Location: Maspeth, NY (Queens) We are an International Event Design and Production Agency seeking a warehouse manager who has experience in Set and Production Design. The ideal candidate should have a keen sense for operations leadership and management. Our events vary in scale from small dinner parties to gala dinners and no detail is too small. The Warehouse Manager will be a key partner in the effort to provide our clients with the perfect event experience. The Candidate Must: • Have experience leading production teams in prop fabrication, painting, and carpentry with an eye for fine detail and luxury finishes. • Be a quick thinking, problem solver, hard-working and responsible. • Be able to work weekends when in production mode. • Run a "tight ship" and accepts nothing short of the best from all staff. • Have a Clean and Valid Drivers License • Have a Moderate Experience using Microsoft Windows and Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) • Have previous Event Experience. Key Responsibilities Include: • Manage daily operations of production warehouse facility (General upkeep, organization, disposal schedule, etc). • Maintain digital and physical administration of inventory. • Evaluate and schedule daily and weekly staffing based on upcoming projects. • Schedule and direct routing of drivers and vehicles. • Oversee safe receipt, storage, retrieval and timely movement of new goods and existing inventory. • Liaison with Design Department to confirm all Event Based Product Lists are Fulfilled. • Supervise staff, address personnel issues and training, and monitor and evaluate performance. • Maintain staffing timesheets/cards. • Purchase of general and project-based supplies and tools. • Oversight and Organization of goods for projects, including loading and unloading of trucks. This role requires a hands-on approach and can be very demanding at certain times of year when the event schedule is heavy. This role has room for growth and welcomes input on improving processes and procedures that increase overall operations efficiencies. Candidates who are bilingual English/Spanish not required but highly valued.
