Bach In Baltimore hosts First Sunday Concerts, with vocal and instrumental soloists and guest youth choral groups, affordably to the public on the First Sunday of Every Month, October - June.
Bach In Baltimore believes that music can be used to bring our community closer together and to help solve social problems. Our mission is to continue to perform the choral and orchestral works of Johann Sebastian Bach (and his contemporaries) while educating youth and the concert-going public about the musical language of Bach and the texts he chose to set to music. Concerts are given with these goals in mind. They are performed as intended by Bach in the original 18th century setting, with professional orchestral accompaniment, accomplished Baroque soloists, and choir. Our goal is to grow and diversify our audience, specifically, to engage more of our neighbors in Baltimore City, and continue our Student Voice Exchange and other educational commitments to Baltimore Youth.
