Responsibilities include: - Laundry - Cleaning guest bedrooms - Maintaining the cleanliness of the Herlong - Maintaining the cleanliness of our event space, the Long Hall - Communicating with Management about maintenance and guest requests - Responding to guest requests with professionalism Desired qualities include positivity, integrity, energy, and a sharp attention to detail. We are a small, hardworking team, and positive communication and focused work ethic is a must. Applicants must be comfortable walking up and down three flights of stairs, lifting and bending. Must have a genuine love for customer service; be happy working independently and in teams; be able to prioritize tasks and stay organized; and respond calmly to unexpected changes and last minute requests. Dress is comfortable and professional. 9:00am - 2:00pm, Friday - Monday. Hours are somewhat flexible and may be shorter or longer depending on Herlong or Employee needs. Located in Micanopy, Florida (15 minutes south of Gainesville), the Herlong is a historic, three story home originally built in 1845. Our guests are local, national, and international.
