World-renowned archaeologist, Dr. Zahi Hawass, shares his experience and expertise of ancient Egypt in this special opportunity for young people. Dr. Hawass has championed the conservation and protection of Egypt's antiquities. He leads modern forensic efforts like the Egyptian Mummy Project, and he will offer perspective on the world premiere Ramses the Great and the Gold of the Pharaohs exhibit.
This lecture is offered in conjunction with the world premiere of Ramses the Great and the Gold of the Pharaohs, an exhibit presented by World Heritage Exhibitions and Cityneon and on view at the Houston Museum of Natural Science.
This event has limited space and is open to students in grades 7-12 ONLY (and 12+ years old).
