Selections from “A Christmas Past” with live scoring by Alan Kryszak, including two world premieres. Considered “the first Christmas films”. As Christmas approaches, NEFO presents our final event of 2021 - selections from "A Christmas Past", featuring the very first Christmas films from the early 1900s. The mansion at the Lyman Estate is the perfect setting, and will be open for exploration to all audience members at 7pm, with the film starting at 8pm. Live talkback with the composer to follow the performance, which includes two world premieres. The program also includes the classic Edison production "A Christmas Carol". Runtime for the show is approximately 45 minutes. To keep our audience and musicians as safe as possible, proof of vaccination and masks are required for entry.
