Yin Yoga practice is excellent for EVERYONE to work into their yoga schedule.
Longer holds... breathwork for stress relief, the ultimate release. Expect to do a
slower paced class with more rest and relaxation offered than in other yoga classes.
You’ll gain flexibility, opening up deep, dense, rarely touched areas. A Yin
practice will help you move effortlessly, balance with ease, feel uplifted and
stronger in your posture. Experience profound letting go and surrender. This is a
great class for anyone feeling low on energy and want to include yoga in their day.
Yin Yoga focuses on the connective tissues, such as the ligaments, bones, and even
the joints of the body that normally are not exercised. Most poses are done seated
and they are held for longer.
Modifications will be offered throughout the class.
–Suitable for All Levels (beginners welcome)
Participants should wear comfortable clothing and bring a yoga mat and/or towel
and a bottle of water. Feel free to bring your own yoga props, blocks, straps, etc.
You don’t have to be able to touch your toes; you just have to be willing to try!
Yoga Nidra is a practice of yogic sleep that will guide you to the hypnagogic
state, a state of consciousness between wakefulness and sleeping.
Becoming aware of your natural breath. It will rejuvenate your body and
your mind. It is said that 20 - 30 minutes of Yoga Nidra is equivalent to 3
hours of deep sleep. It is a powerful and delightful practice that you can do
on a daily basis at any suitable time for you.
