NORTHPORT, NY — The Northport Rotary Book Drive collected 10,000 children's books this year, and 200 boxes of books were donated to Hindi's Libraries, according to a news release. Hindi's Libraries, a nonprofit that donates new and gently used children's books all over the world, also received $2,000 from the Northport Rotary to help with shipping costs. Judy Farabaugh, a representative from the Northport Rotary, along with several members of the community group, delivered the books to the home of Leslie Gang, co-founder of Hindi's Libraries.
