Bassist here(also play guitar but mainly a Gibson nylon string for now cuz reasons... helps with songwriting though). Good enough gear but if you're a gear snob then it's fantastic gear. It was played by the best of all the world. Influenzas: Lungfish, wipers, Sunn-oh-soundwaves, Melvins, Jesus Lizard, Bad Brains, Sleep, Nick Drake, Kim Deal and her band The Pixies, Soundgarden before they reunited and were so bad they caused Chris Cornell to kill himself, Mudhoney, Antelope, Dianogah, Killdozer, Kyuss, old AIC, Tom Petty, Stone Roses, Echo and the Bunnymen, Bauhaus, Daniel Johnston, the band Speed Metal which is not a band, and honest people. Are there honest people who like playing loud original music that's made by unprofessionals? That's a great influenza... the greatest influenza of all. Honesty. Where is the honest man? My goals: good music, important music, purpose far beyond glory or financial benefit, purpose far beyond ornamentation or cool shelf object, making art, speaking to the soul, philosophical and religious introspection translated as sonic extroversion, and no fucking dad bands God damnit. Play underground shows, make underground records, because we're underground mole people. That... is GOAL! Pweese?
