Description
Meet Dude!
I rescued him from a bad situation. I’ll be fostering him in the mean time.
Is approx a year and a half old, neutered German shepherd. He is a tall boy and is about 76 pounds. He is up to date on rabies, distemper parvo, and his bordetella vaccines. He also is cleared of an upper respiratory infection.
The Good:
Very social with new people.Confident in new places. Walks great on leash. Muzzle trained. House broken. Almost off leash trained. Decent food drive. Takes food gently. Good off switch in the house
As far as an appropriate home for Dude. He may do well as an active pet, potential service dog due to his size and his temperament with some work, or maybe as a very novice sport dog! He would do well with other dogs with an experienced owner who knows how to do slow introductions or he would do well as a single dog in the house. I’m not sure how he is with cats he may or may not do well with them. He has a lot of potential but he will definitely need some work to get there!
There is a small rehoming fee to insure he goes to an appropriate home. Experienced handlers preferred but not limited to. Would love to find him a home soon! Send message for more information.
