High: 44 Low: 37. Here are the top five stories in Beaverton today: Two individuals were rescued after a car crashed and landed on its side in Aloha early Sunday morning. The single-vehicle crash happened on Tualatin Valley Highway and 209th Avenue. TVF&R extracted the individuals, and they were transported to a local hospital with serious injuries. (KOIN.com)A car was "mangled" following a crash near 185th and Baseline on Sunday afternoon. Despite the extensive damage to one of the vehicles involved, officials say the driver suffered non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the other vehicle involved was not injured. (KOIN.com) A kitchen fire drew firefighters to Hillsboro Sunday morning around 10:00 AM. The fire is said to have spread to the attic of the home at 420 NE Century Boulevard.
