Iso small breed puppy or dog

I'm searching for a small breed puppy or young dog. Nothing agressive toward other animals or kids. A women gave me a dog last month who went after my neibors dog and tore her up! I will not tolerate another dog like him. He went to a home with an older couple who does not have other animals or kids. I have 2 small kids 2 year old and a 7 year old so must get alone with them and my 12 year old dog. She don't play no more and has lost her eye sight in both eyes. We r looking for a dog that has energy and wants to play and run with the kids. Will be spayed or neutered asap! I am not a breeder I have a vet u can call here in Richmond. Looking for one asap. Please free or cheap as a neuter or spay is pricey! I'm ok with mutts my dog is one and she's the best!
