Employers Overload is looking for someone to join the Building Services department at a local fabric manufacturer in Downtown Portland. We're looking for a hard working and reliable candidate through the middle of January, but potentially full time. The ideal person would have previous warehouse or labor experience. Schedule: Monday - Friday from 7am - 3:30pm Pay rate: $16.50 per hour Everyday responsibilities: • Receive all incoming packages & deliver all packages. • Process outgoing UPS/USPS packages. • Gather all mail and place in bins/tubs for pick up. • Process afternoon batch of USPS mail. • Mail run to distribution center and our retail store. (This includes loading company van to go over, grabbing everything at other locations, unloading van at corporate and delivering all packages throughout building.) Weekly job duties: • Cleaning of the garage and shipping area • Paper delivery around the building Job duties when needed: • Changing lightbulbs • Picking up leaves • Watering plants • Painting inside & outside • Moving office furniture Requirements: • Previous warehouse or packaging experience preferred. • Ability to lift 50lbs regularly, 75lbs infrequently. • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English. • Valid Driver's License. • Pre-employment screening required.
