I bought this for my macaw many years ago and it worked like a charm. You place a whole fruit or vegetable in the cage, hang it on your bird's perch or in its cage, and your bird eats away! I found it worked much better than a hanging skewer because, with the skewer, the fruit often fell off before being fully consumed. It's made of powder-coated steel and is virtually indestructible.
