NEW YEARS EVE EVENT SETUP

*please read the entire post* I am the Lead Designer of an event planning business and I am looking for event decorating staff for a big New Years Eve Event, Friday, December 31st 2021, to assist with the event design set up. This is a large 350 - 400 guest event with dinner and dancing as the guests ring in the New Year. I’m looking for assistance in transforming the Hotel ballroom in Ontario for a spectacular Event. DUTIES: Setup included but not limited to: Guest table Tablecloths & Overlays Putting on Chair covers Displaying Centerpieces Set up NYE party favors on tables Assist with pipe and draping Entrance VIP area Cocktail Tables Assist with unloading the truck (not heavy lifting just my decorations and supplies etc). You MUST have prior experience with large wedding or event decor setup. Attention to detail is VERY IMPORTANT. This is a very important event so I'm only considering reliable, serious candidates. Available shifts: NEW YEARS EVE 12-31-21 8am - 4pm (2 spots available) $16hr 9am - 5pm (2 spots still available) $16 hr. Teardown NEW YEARS DAY 1–1-22 9am - 12 noon (2 spots available $20 hr) Dress code: Black pants Black or White Top/Shirt COMPENSATION: SET-UP pay is $16 hr. NYE TEARDOWN pay is $20hr New Years Day Lunch will be provided MUST have reliable transportation, working phone number and serious about working this event.
