(See below)Dear Community Leaders and Stakeholders, Summit County Probate Court, in collaboration with our steering committee partners, is excited to announce this year's annual Senior Summit to take place May 13 and 14, 2022. The Senior Summit 2022 Steering Committee came together in a collaborative effort to create a professional conference and public expo to educate and inform those who serve seniors and our community about the many resources in Summit County for seniors, their caregivers, and families. Friday, May 13, will be a HYBRID professional conference providing CEU/CLE-level sessions from 8:00 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. either on Zoom or in person at St George’s Fellowship Center, 3204 Ridgewood Road, Akron, OH 44333. The in-person day will include breakfast and lunch and networking while the Zoom session allows those with a, particularly tight schedule that day to still take part. Saturday, May 14, will be a Senior Expo, free to the public, with services for seniors, and those who love them, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Firestone CLC, 470 Castle Blvd. The day will include public service booths, break-out sessions, and other activities targeted to seniors, their caregivers, and their families. Booths are available providing services that day to seniors as well as informing the public about the vibrant living possible as we age in Summit County. Your participation and support are crucial to the success of this event. Help us celebrate our older adults and continue to build a dynamic community for all Summit County citizens.
