Art & Wine Walk Fundraiser pt. 2 is this April! Join our Artists Against Trafficking movement as we fight child exploitation in Guatemala On April 30, 2022 we are planning to host Mission Jade’s second Art & Wine Walk fundraiser in Houston, Texas. Featuring local Artists Against Trafficking, Latin musicians, caterers, and breweries. Mission Jade is taking a stance against child labor trafficking with the art community and Latinos in EADO. Mission Jade is a 501c3 non profit organization that fights against the labor trafficking of children in Guatemala by removing barriers to education, providing programs to children in hazardous work sites, and prevention education to indigenous communities. We recently supplied 100 children with school supplies and food boxes. We are expanding our program development and outreach in Zone 3 and Chimaltenango. This fundraiser is to stabilize a secondary education program in Chimaltenango by August 1, 2022.
