Join us on a pilgrimage of prayer, penance, and fellowship Join us on a pilgrimage of prayer, penance, and fellowship as we commemorate the 49th Anniversary of Roe v. Wade, the tragic Supreme Court decision legalizing abortion.The March for Life in Washington D.C. began as a grassroots response of pro-lifers nationwide to Roe v. Wade, the 1973 Supreme Court decision legalizing abortion throughout the nine months of a woman’s pregnancy. Each year, inspired by the Holy Spirit’s gift of Reverence, Catholics and all people of good will come together at our Nation’s Capital to pray and publicly intercede on behalf of the unborn, their parents, families, our communities, our nation and its leaders – that this prayerful presence may open hearts, minds, souls to the fullness of the Gospel of Life in our lives and laws. We will be attending the NY Pilgrim Mass at 10:30 AM celebrated by Cardinal Dolan at St. Patrick's Church (619 10th Street NW, Washington DC), walking distance from the start of the Rally! The bus will depart at 5:00 AM from: Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish | 457 West 51st Street (between 9th and 10th Avenues) Discounted tickets may be available for students and those with limited means.
