Description

BCS Spay holds adoption events 2-5pm most Saturdays at the College Station Petsmart on University Ave. We will be back by the cat litter with some cats and kittens needing homes. All are spayed/neutered and microchipped for identification. They are up to date on vaccinations for rabies and FVRCP. Adoption fees range from $40 for adult cats over a year old to $80 for kittens under six months old. We include some extra goodies such as soft-sided carriers, calming spray, bowls, toys, and nail clippers (while supplies last) with adoptions. Saturday, December 18, we plan to bring (most are good with other cats): - Dickie, a gray tabby with white male kitten around 4 months old - Mark Sloan & Meredith Grey, brown torbie female and orange tabby male kittens around 5 months old (can be adopted separately) - Grande, a shy orange and white male kitten around 7 months old - Peanut, a spunky young orange female cat around one year old - Flower, a black/white female cat around 2 years old (bonded with Thumper a Snowshoe mix male and need to be adopted together) Or let us know what kind if cat or kitten you are looking for and we will let you know if we have a good match. Some other cats who are available include: - Thea, a brown tabby female kitten around 4 months old (Dickie's sister) - Attaboy, a Snowshoe mix male cat around one year old - Cleo, a solid black female around 3 years old bonded with her sister Roxy (special needs due to eye issues) - Smoky, a solid gray male cat around six years old - Charlie Chaplin, a friendly large black/white tuxedo male around six years old - Morris, a fluffy orange male cat with FIV (feline immunodeficiency virus) - Winona, a small, bossy, black/white tuxedo female cat around seven years old - Marta, a fluffy gray tabby female senior cat around 10 years old (special needs due to dental issues) We can also arrange meetings with individual cats once you have an adoption application approved. Or let us know if you are interested in fostering cats or kittens while they wait for forever homes. We can provide information on low-cost options for spay/neuter pets (if you receive needs-based public assistance) or feral cats.
