Rehoming fee of $500! This is a very expensive 12 month old 100lb purebred HEALTHY Newfoundland ("Newfie") male - AKC registered, all shots and fixed. He is brown with green eyes and white chest -- aka "bronze". This dog is usually a VERY loving, people and children-oriented Newf -- taken regularly through HomeDepot, Tractor Supply, Lowes for socialization with never a problem -- people LOVE this dog on sight, and he gravitates towards children especially! He will be at least 160lbs when mature. HOWEVER!!!!!!!! NOTE NOTE NOTE: He has bitten 3 people in the past two weeks! All incidents have been centered around putting a collar on him. The reason for the dog bites is UNKNOWN and not worth our further investigation or correctional training. He physically healthy. He has been doted upon by a retired, professional couple who is very experienced with Newfies (3 previous Newfs) and maybe a dozen other large breed dogs. He has been walked daily, worked on training daily, well-fed (and treats), and NEVER abused. He is an indoor and outdoor dog, and has previously interacted with other dogs without a problem, EVER. There are no returns. There is a small rehoming fee of $500 to ensure he goes to a properly-equipped and mentally-prepared home. Otherwise, the pup is going to be euthanized next week.
