Hello, Trying to find a home for two male guinea pigs. They are 3 weeks old, are very social, love being held, and are super sweet. My husband and I would like to keep them as a pair. We'd like someone who is a bit more experienced/has owned guinea pigs to take these two or, alternatively, if you are a first time owner one who has done their research on how to care for these critters. They are free to a good home, BUT I do want to know that they will be well taken care of, so this means I will require a picture of an enclosure that's ready for them before I send them home with anyone. Serious inquiries only, these guys have a life span of 5-8 years so it's a real commitment, these two little potatoes will mostly be long haired which means they will require a bit more maintenance.
