Beekeeping Short Course provides information for all levels of beekeeping. Join us as our local beekeepers share knowledge and guidance. Learn about what it takes to become a beekeeper by attending the Jacksonville Beekeepers Association 2022 Beginner Beekeeper’s Short Course. If you are interested in learning about beekeeping, This class is for you. Participants will gain an understanding of honeybee biology, equipment needed and processes involved in keeping honey bees. The class will be held in person on January 22, 2022 from 8:30 am till 3:30 pm at the Duval County Extension Office located at 1010 N,. McDuff Avenue North in Jacksonville Florida. Face coverings are expected for all participants. Individuals at a higher risk for severe illness from COVID-19 (including older adults and vulnerable people of all ages with certain underlying medical conditions) should avoid in-person events and gatherings at this time.
