On Friday September 9th, join us in welcoming the Herald Mail’s own Lloyd “Pete” Waters for an exploration into his 2017 book, Dargan Boy: Reflections of My Journey This month’s featured cocktail is: The Raspberry Tarragon Moonshine Smash! Perfectly balanced with flavors of fresh raspberry and tarragon, this cocktail is a one-of-a-kind! Culture & Cocktails 2022 has been made possible by the generous support of the James and Mary Schurz Foundation. Founded in 1911, the Washington County Historical Society has played a significant role in preserving historic sites, artifacts and archival records for Washington County, Maryland. Located in downtown Hagerstown, the Miller House serves as the home of the historical society, the kinship Family Heritage Research Center, and the Miller House Museum. The museum gives visitors a taste of life in the 1850s and exhibits showcase important events in Washington County history.
