Dance the night away with an evening of big band favorites by the Mobile Big Band Society, along with an elegant sit-down dinner. Mobile Big Band Socirty hosts an evening of big band favorites for a night of ballroom dancing. Your reserved table seating features an elegant sit- down dinner with coffee, tea and water and a cash bar. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. Band preforms from 6:30 - 10:00 p.m. Dinner service is at 7:00 p.m. Parking is available in the hotel. Save $4 by purchasing an advance parking pass along with your event ticket purchase. Mobile Big Band Society, a 501(c)(3) organization, was formed to continue the performance and preservation of the music of the Big Band era.Regional band members play for the sheer joy of getting together to make the music, for themselves, for their "mature" fans, who have heard and loved it all their lives, and for the younger set, many just discovering the melodies, harmonies and romantic lyrics of the Great American Song Book.
