Former New York Islander players Steve Webb and Butch Goring accompanied families from "Yes We Can" Community Center on a pre-Christmas holiday shopping spree at the Carle Place Stop & Shop. The supermarket provided each family with $250 in gift cards to shop for food for their holiday celebrations. Stop & Shop and the Islanders were introduced to the families by the "Yes We Can" Community Center, which provides youth and adults with sports, arts, fitness, science, educational and enrichment programs.
