Introduction to growing food in your own personal space using sustainable urban agricultural practices.
This is an opportunity to learn how to grow food in your personal space.
Topics will include plant structure, plant needs, regenerative gardening, soil health, water conservation, and the need for pollinators. This will be a simple class for beginners and those open to learning more about growing food in Oklahoma.Session lll will begin Tuesday, March 2, 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Pilgrim Rest Church. Sessions are limited to ten people per class Participants must be 16 and older. We will practice social distancing, masks are required, and temperatures will be taken at the beginning of every class. Classes will continue to meet every Tuesday during the month of March 2nd, 9, 16, 23, and 27. March 27 is scheduled as a day of hands-on activities that will take place outside if weather permits.
