Surf band

Interested in starting a band to play instrumental surf tunes. Covers, then eventually some originals. Fender IV, los straightjackets, messer chups, surfaris etc.. Also mix in some old country, rock n roll or blues with vocals so it doesn’t get too boring. I would play guitar or bass. Can cover some vocals, but would prefer to share that responsibility. I have a place to play if needed. My ideal situation is practice in the the cold months then play a couple shows in the summer. Not looking to play out a bunch. Just enough to keep interested. If you’re interested let me know what you’re thinking.
