Rex is a 9 year old male Australian Shepherd. We have had him since he was 6 weeks old. Rex is full of energy and has lots of love to give. He knows some basic commands and is very smart. His ideal home is being in an active household and being with his people/family. Rex loves to play ball/fetch, go for rides in the car and is good on hikes. He needs a home where he can get lots of exercise and time outside. He gets along well with the neighborhood dogs. He is always good with friends/visitors and neighbors. Rex has been primarily the only animal in the home He did live with two cats for several years. Rex always seems to adapt easily to different situations. He is house trained and has never had an accident inside. Rex is an inside/outside dog and has free run of the property during the day. He does not roam, he stays on the property. He always stays in the house at night with us, and when we are outside Rex is always right there with us. He hasn't been around young children much, so we're not sure how he is with that. We are going to be very picky who we give him to. After you come and meet Rex we will require another meet and greet at your home. He is neutered and up to date on all his vaccinations.(we will give you his records). He weighs 60 lbs. We will included his remaining heart worm and flea/tick medication, enough through April 2022 (and any remaining food at that time). A rehoming fee of $100 to insure a good home.
