Description
Press release from the Village of Lisle:
December 17, 2021
Storm sewers serve to convey precipitation away from roadways and other paved surfaces. The maintenance and improvement of storm water sewer systems is vital to ensuring that these systems best meet the needs of the community. As part of its commitment to alleviating flooding, the Village is planning for the conduct of capital construction projects outlined in the 2020 Stormwater Master Plan.
The plan includes storm sewer improvements located within the Village Center neighborhood, which generally falls within the area bound by Lincoln Avenue, Gamble Drive, Kingston Avenue and Front Street. Improvements identified for this area are designed to improve conditions within the neighborhood. Engineering Resource Associates (ERA) have been contracted to perform topographical surveying through capturing imagery via drones flying over this area, and will also perform design engineering for the proposed improvements. To learn more about stormwater management in the Village, visit the Village's stormwater management page.
