The Lincoln Park office of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Chicago held a virtual fundraiser to benefit the Lakeview Pantry in November and raised $1,142. The Lakeview Pantry has been feeding hope since 1970. Their mission is to raise awareness of and eliminate hunger and poverty in communities by providing food to fill the basic needs of area residents, empowering their clients to achieve independence through social service programming. Darlene Little, vice president and managing broker of the Lincoln Park Clybourn office, said, “We love working with The Lakeview Pantry and work with them on a number of different activities throughout the year. Our agents have an ongoing relationship with the pantry and a number of agents assist on a monthly basis stocking shelves, checking-in grocery orders and assisting clients with shopping and order pick-up.
