Part-time position with immediate opening to care for horses at small, very nice private horse facility. Beautiful setting in the middle of wine country with a very friendly work environment. Very lovely work environment - great for someone who loves to work around nice horses. For the part-time role, job is approximately 5 hours per day three to four days per week. Requires reliable 7:45 am arrival. Must have knowledge of horses - please no applicants without horse experience. Includes horse feeding, turnout, horse washing, stall cleaning, arena dragging, blanketing and related activities. The job also includes farm maintenance work. Must know how to handle horses and be prompt and self sufficient. The position does require some lifting and physical activity. Individual must speak / read English and have references.
