***Please read whole ad before responding*** Seeking lead guitarist who thrives on 80's Metal and hard rock like Scorpions, Black Sabbath, Dokken, Tesla, Twisted Sister, AC/DC, Quiet Riot and many more! Female Fronted with multiple lead singers. We will be putting on SHOWS not just plowing through 40 songs. We have the catalog, the gear, and the experience to make this happen because we have done this successfully before in the Boston area. YOU: A team player and no heavy booze or drug hangups, ok with a couple beers and a puff. Have your own transpo and gear. We are pushing hard to make this unit into a direct to PA band so we prefer players who use Headrush or Helix type units direct. We have a way for you to use your tube head direct if you insist on using it, but we will be relying on the PA system for our sound and volume. If you MUST use a half stack then you need to know you won't be cranking it. This is a professional situation where we will be adjusting our volumes to suit the venues and we have the ability and gear to bring the roof down when we want to. Weekly rehearsals are in Edgewood but gigs will be 99% in the ABQ area. We are all in our 40's and 50's if that matters. We are not even close to done rocking. The idea here is classic metal and hard rock that pretty much anyone will enjoy. We aren't trying to play to 17 musician buddies who want to hear someone play a whole night of b-side and obscure songs. There will be a few killer curveballs thrown in for sure but a majority of the material will be instantly recognizable "good time" metal and hard rock. The list is already 80% built and executed. There is room for input on material still. Sorry for the long post but we are are looking for serious people only.
