I am a huge supporter of our local LLS chapter.  I sit on the ELC for their Man and Woman of the Year campaign plus I am Chair of their MWOY Gala.  This year, I am also Campaign Manager for both my daugther's Student of the Year but also Jillian Doerfler's Woman of the Year.  Their mission is simple - find a cure for blood cancers.  Over 43% of all cancer drugs currently being used were founded by either LLS's research or funded by them.
