Hello, This a special situation. Please read carefully to see if it's a match for you. This ad may appeal to a history buff! Or someone who happens to need a room in a safe part of Brooklyn for 4-6 weeks. Strange but true. Please read on. I need 1 reliable, honest, able-bodied male to help me move boxes of antique books and rare collectible paper of all kinds including vintage stocks and bonds. Move will take 4-6 weeks. Location: Avenue X and McDonald, Brooklyn Since I have to be present and I run a business, I only have an average of 3 to 6 hours and an average of 3 days a week (normally from 2 to 8 pm Sunday and 5 to 8 pm 2 weekdays, which falls outside the 9-5 weekday routine if you have a full-time job). If you can work those hours, great. If you can barter your labor for collectibles you can pick any ones you want from my vast collection at my cost. I also have a rent free private room available nearby while the move is in progress. See below for more info about that. Ideally you should live near Avenue X/86th Street/McDonald Ave or be very close to the F, N or R train due to the part-time nature of the gig (unless you want the room - see below). Must be non-smoker and non-vaper. Handy enough to help set up snap-together metal racks etc. Last but not least: I can provide a rent-free room in a house for the 4-6 week period. If that's something you need, I will trade it for the moving help, leaving the other hours for you to work elsewhere. Might be ideal for someone visiting here, someone new to NYC or someone waiting/looking for permanent lodging elsewhere. Additional longer term office/sales/shipping work may be available to the right person.
