Wilkes' Bell Witch OpryThe Bell Witch Opry is a vaudevillian cabaret dedicated to—and named after—a bygone music event in Adams Tennessee, the home of the infamous “Bell Witch”. The variety act features JD Wilkes (of Legendary Shack Shakers) on harmonica, banjo and an antique “Tin Pan Alley” piano; fellow “Shaker” Preston Corn on junkyard percussion; and the lovely Miranda Ceara alternating between washtub bass, banjo, fiddle and clarinet. Audiences can expect anything from old-time bluegrass to ragtime, gypsy jazz to spoken word…blues, country music and more. As you can tell, variety is indeed the name of the game. What’s more, the footage recorded during their travels will feature in a future film with an otherworldly soundtrack. By traveling around seeking to conjure the ghosts of Vaudeville, the group hopes to rekindle interest in the dream-lit era of Vaudeville itself. J.D. Wilkes' Bell Witch Opry
