Looking for a good permanent home for my 1 and half year old dog Wile E. I believe he is Red Heeler (Australian Cattle dog) and German shepherd mix. I got him in Southern California from someone who was rehoming him for a friend. He has been with me since January of this year when he was around 6 months. From what I know he was locked up in the back yard for his first 6 months and is lacking social skills with other dogs and needs slow introductions with people. I took him to Cederwoods for training and it helped but he needs help with reactivity to other dogs. Looking to find some one with property for him to run on, have him as an only dog, and an lives a somewhat active lifestyle. Experience with working breeds would be a huge plus. I work more than fulltime and can't afford anywhere with property for him. He needs an adult owner, he is not a dog to get for your kid although he has been around 5 to 7 year olds and done fine. He does play rough. He knows basic obedience but if he's really full of energy he lacks attention. I love him to death, he's very sweet once he gets to know you, but just not a good fit to apartment life which seems to be what I can afford at the time. Call me and we can chat. I'm not looking to get rid of him, but rather seeing if there may be a better suited home life for him.
