Faith-Based Basic ESL (English as a Second Language) Teacher Certification Training 11 hours required for Certification, provided by CA WMU. Friday will begin at 5:30 P.M. and concludes at 9:00 P.M. Saturday will begin at 8 A.M. and conclude at 4:30 P.M.The Basic Literacy ESL Workshop provides 11 hours of training for certification in teaching ESL. * 11 hours required training for certification. Cost for the workshop: $50per person for members of CSBC churches/ $6 per person for others. The training manual and supplies needed to complete the class are included in the registration fee. For the maximum benefit of the participants, training will be limited to 20 participants so register early. On-line registration is preferred to allow for adequate training materials and food. (Mail-in registration forms are available upon request; please allow for mail registration to arrive in Oxnard prior to January 14th.) Registration closed January 14th On Friday evening a light dinner will be provided, and lunch will be provided on Saturday. This training is provided by the Literacy Missions Team of CA WMU partnering with the National Literacy Missions Partnership. The National Literacy Missions Partnership works with NAMB Send Relief to equip local church volunteers in literacy ministries. (www.literacymissionssbc.net )
