Come show your support of Roe v. Wade and in protest of the abortion bans heard by SCOTUS and taking place across the nation. The program will last about an hour and feature leaders from the reproductive health, rights, and justice movements here in California. In recognition of Roe v Wade being the law of the land, Planned Parenthood Affiliates of California will be hosting a rally occurring on the West Steps of the California Capitol on January 22, 2022 at 11 AM PST. Given California’s status as a Reproductive Freedom state, access to abortion is not as at risk as it may be in other states. However, it is crucial that California continues to build upon its leadership on Reproductive Freedom – continuing to increase access and decrease barriers to sexual and reproductive health care, including abortion, for those who live and for those who may seek care here from out of state.
