Girls Scouts are invited to participate in a community art project by creating pompoms at the Women's Museum of California
The hour long party includes a tour of the new Women's Museum education center and instruction on how to create pompoms.
Every girl will recieve a WMC tote bag with a pompom making kit that they can take home as well as other women's museum merchandise.
About the Pompom Project: The pompom project is based on the belief that art is better with community. Artworks are made with many small pompoms to create larger artworks that transcend When we come together to do our part.
Attend one of our in-person pompom parties throughout January 2022 to create, connect, and support this community project.
All pompoms will be strung together in the shape of a woman's symbol that will be hung outside the WMC Education Center to celebrate Women's History Month, March 2022.
