Create one-of-a-kind coasters in this workshop led by the Clay Studio. Create one-of-a-kind coasters in this workshop led by the Clay Studio. Go on a short nature walk on the grounds of Glen Foerd to collect winter greens, then use it to decorate your coasters by making impressions! Coasters will be taken and fired by The Clay Studio and available for pickup at Glen Foerd at a later date. Per City of Philadelphia regulations, masks are required at this event. Built in 1850 and expanded and refurbished throughout its time as a private residence, the Glen Foerd mansion is currently home to an array of historic domestic artifacts, American and European art, and contemporary art installations. Glen Foerd is a Philadelphia oasis situated at the confluence of the Delaware River and Poquessing Creek. The public is welcome to enjoy the grounds and spectacular river views.
