Please come. Neighborhood Invited To Sing ‘Silent Night’ Outside On Christmas Eve at 5 PMHelp break up the darkness and bring light into the world, with prayers of peace, hope, joy, and love. Silent Night is one of the most beloved Christmas hymns around the world. It has brought people together and connected them even across enemy lines, as the famous Silent Night truce during World War I demonstrated. It has also traditionally ended Christmas Eve services as the congregations light candles and sing together to celebrate the birth of Christ. Q: What is this?A: group singalong to get people together and connect them with a sense of unity. Q: How did this come about?A: During the 2020 pandemic people from California to Chicago started the tradition. Click links to see news stories. Q: What time will it be?A: 5 PM on Christmas EveQ: Where is it?A: At the clearing known as the future Tuscany Linear Park - one street north of Rec Center off Olivia Parkway (see map).Q: What will it look like?A: The site will be identified by a 6' wooden cross illuminated by luminaries. Q: Will there be music to accompany the vocals?A: Yes.
